Veronica Beccabunga Linn.
K. & M., 1770, p. 203.—Mohr, 1786, p. 152.—Babington, 1871, p. 321.—Gronlund,
Isl. Fl., 1881, p. 67.
This species is recorded by König & Miiller, loc. cit., as also by some other earlier
authors, and localities are given. There are, however, no specimens in H.H., and it
is most likely that the specimens in question have been V. Anagallis-aquatica; V.
Beccabunga, however, occurs here and there on the Færoes.
Veronica Chamaedrys Linn.
Stefánsson, Fl. ísl., ed. 2, 1924, p. 192.—O. & Gr., 1934, p. 126.
Recorded from Sólbakki in Önundarfjörður, N.W. (coll. Steinn Emilsson, ac-
cording to Stefánsson, loc. cit.). An accidentally introduced specimen?
Veronica comosa Richt.
V. aquatica Bernh., Benguerel, 1860, p. 449.—Babingtön, 1871, p. 321.
Benguerel records this species in his list, but the specimen in question is most
certainly V. Anagallis-aquatica. Babington declares that he knows nothing about
this plant.
