This species was first recorded by K. & M., loc. cit., and it was afterwards in-
cluded in most of the older lists. There are no specimens in evidence, and it should
be excluded from the Icelandic Flora.

Icelandic: Hjeluvorblóm. Danish: Sne-Gæslingblomst. English: Pigmy Whitlow-
grass.
This species is found in many places in N. Icel., from Jökulsá á Fjöllum to
Húnafjörður, but is otherwise rare, cp. fig. 98. Both in the Iowland and high up in
the hills. In the central parts recorded from Hveravellir (1934, J.Gr.), and from
Eyjabakkar and Laugafell (J.Gr., 1935). On Súlur W. of Akureyri it occurs at a
level of about 1000 m.

On bare and gravelly soil, in fell-field.
