Found by I.Ó., loc. cit., in the nursery at Akureyri; introduced.
Trifolium arvense Linn.

This species was recorded by König & Miiller, loc. cit., but no specimens have
been in evidence. It may be safer to exclude it from the Icel. Flora.
Trifolium hybridum Linn.
Ingimar Óskarsson, 1932, p. 34.
This species was found by I.Ó., loc. cit., in cultivated soil in the nursery at
Akureyri; introduced. Also recorded from Laugar near Einarsstaðir, N. (coll. J.Li.).
Most likely an escape from cultivation.
Trifolium minus Sm.
(Bennet, 1890, p. 79).—Journ. of Botany, 1886, p. 68 (Editor’s note).
According to Bennet, loc. cit., this species was found in Iceland by Solander,
and a specimen (without locality) is kept in Herb. Mus. Brit.
No doubt accidcntally introduced.
