the specimens collected are well developed, in flower (July), the flowering stalks.
being up to 12 cm high (cp. also Stefánsson, 1919, loc. cit.). See fig. 121.

Erodium cicutarium (L.) L’Herit.
Stefánsson, 1919, p. 35.
In H.R. there are specimens found in a home-field at Torfastaðir, S. (coll. Magn.
Helgason, 1902). Most likely accidentally introduced.
Geranium molle Linn.
Rostrup, 1887, p. 175.—Bennet, 1890, p. 79.—O. & Gr., 1934, p. 78.
Recorded by Rostrup, loc. cit., as found by Ólafur Davíðsson at Hallbjarnareyri,
W. Also seen near Akureyri, N. (cp. O. & Gr., loc. cit.).
Doubtless accidentally introduced, see also Bennet, loc. cit.
In the Færoes it likewise occurs as an accidentally introduced plant.
Geranium phaeum Linn.
G. montanum, K. & M., 1770, p. 209.—G. fuscum s. montanum, Hjaltalín, 1830,
p. 243.—G. þhaeum L. var. fuscum L., Lindsay, 1861, p. 29.—G. þhaeum L., Ba-
bington, 1871, p. 300.
This species is cited by the above-mentioned authors, but it is rather unlikely that
it ítould have been found in Iceland.
Geranium pratense Linn.
K. & M., 1770, p. 209.—Lindsay, 1861, p. 29.—Babington, 1871, p. 300.
Babington, loc. cit., states that he has seen this species in Solander’s collection,
but no locality is given. Most probably the specimen in question was G. sylvaticum.
