places in the central highland : Arnarfell hið mikla (J.Gr., 1934), Brennisteinsalda,
Laugahraun and Kýlingar (S.S., 1931).

Eþilobium montanum Linn.
K. & M., 1770, p. 206.—Hjaltalín, 1830, p. 170.—Babington, 1871, p. 305.—Gron-
lund, Isl. Fl., 1881, p. 28.—Helgi Jónsson, 1896, p. 348.
This species is recorded in nearly all the lists from König & Múller to Gronlund,
and even Helgi Jónsson recorded it in his list (1896) from Dvergasteinn and
Stöð, E.
No specimens are, however, in evidence, and it may be safer to exclude it from
the Icelandic Flora. Some specimens in H.H., belonging to E. collinum have
previously been determined as E. montanum. In the Færoes E. montanum is rather
frequent.
