excluded from the flora of Iceland.

Icelandic: Maríulykill. Danish: Rank Kodriver.
This species was first recorded by Olafsen, loc. cit., from Gullbringusýsla, S.W.,
under the name P. farinosa L., but no localities are known from this part of Ice-
land. Mohr, loc. cit., mentions Kiarni
and Holte-Myren at Krosanes in Eyja-
fjörður.
The Icelandic specimens are usually
much smaller than the specimens found
in Scandinavia and W. Greenland, but
otherwise fairly typical. See fig. 142.
Found in the parts west of Eyjafjörður
and southward to Kristnes south of the
head of Eyjafjörður; in this area it is
fairly common. Furthermore it has been
found at Eskifjörður, E. (I.Ó., 1927,
p. 52). See fig. 143.
As to its distribution outside Iceland,
cp. M. L. Fernald in Rhodora, Vol. 30,
1928, p. 66—67.
