Pedicularis þalustris Linn.
Baring-Gould, 1863, p. 431.—Babington, 1871, p. 320.—Gronlund, Isl. Fl., 1881,
p. 65.
This species is recorded by Baring-Gould, loc. cit., from Miklibær in Skaga-
fjörður, N., but this record is evidently due to an error. Gronlund, too, loc. cit.,
has entered it in his Isl. Flora, and mentions that it has been found in Iceland by
Steenstrup. No specimens are in evidence, and it should be excluded from the
Icelandic flora.
Pedicularis sylvatica Linn.
K. & M., 1770, p. 208,—Baring-Gould, 1863, p. 431,—Babington, 1871, p. 320.
This species is recorded by König & Miiller, loc. cit., and is entered in some
other earlier lists. Like P. þalustris it should be excluded from the Icelandic flora.
