Ályktun
Óhætt er að álykta að árangur gerviliðaðgerða á
hnjám á FSA standist fullkomlega alþjóðlegan sam-
anburð hvað varðar tíðni enduraðgerða, fylgikvilla
og sýkingatíðni. Við samanburð við sænsku gervi-
liðaskránna sést glögglega hve árangurinn er góður,
þar sem tíðni enduraðgerða vegna loss og sýkinga
er í báðum tilvikum sambærilegur á FSA við sænsku
gerviliðaskrána þegar litið er til AGC gerviliðarins.
Einnig staðfestir rannsóknin að varhugavert er að
taka upp nýjungar, eins og PCA hálfgerviliðinn á
sínum tíma, áður en langtímaárangur er ljós.
