BB Sophia is seeking
NEONATOLOGISTS
BB Sophia will offer antenatal care, childbirth and neonatal care with high competence and
excellency. By having neonatalogy, obstetrics and anaesthesiology accommodated within the
same organization, we can ensure continuous care for families whose children require neonatal
care. High medical safety, a courteous cooperation between the various occupational categories
with focus on team work around mother, child and family is our overall goal.
The organization will open its doors in the beginning of March 2014, and operate within Várdval Stockholm.
The childbirth unit is dimensioned for approximately 4,000 deliveries per year. The neonatal unit will
provide Level ll-care and consist of 10 to 12 inpatient accommodations, and 4 to 6 house call patients.
The organization will operate in newly built premises with the highest standards and modern equipment.

Qualifications: Specialist in Neonatology with experience of on-call duties. Even skilled specialist
pediatrician with experience of neonatology and resident physician in Neonatology may be of interest,
Personal qualities: Interest in development and excellent interpersonal skills.
