50 Hg, females having significantly higher pres- sures than males. Of all examined 62.8% had equal intra- ocular pressure in both eyes. In only 5% the difference was more than 3 mm, the left eye having more often higher pressure than the right eye. Glaucoma was found in 2.67% of the material with a significant increase in frequency in persons over 60 years and at intra-oeular pres- sure of 24 mm Hg, with a higher rate for males than females.
