Research Meetings
Grants for the hosting of symposia in the Nordic Region, possibly as satellite symposia in connection with large conferences, or
grants for the invitation of leading international researchers for short-term sojourns with a research team combined with open
lectures or the like. Grants are not available for holding courses.
The theme of the activity must be within endocrinology or experimental physiology. Each grant is normally in the order of DKK
100,000 or more.
It is possible to apply in 2008 for projects to take place in 2009 and 2010.

The application must contain a justification for the proposal (no more than one page), a description of the programme with
proposed date and budget, information on the team’s own activities in the area and the significance of holding the event for own
further research activity. Documentation must be included of key publication activity during the past two-three years (no more
than two pages).
Applications must be received by the Novo Nordisk Foundation no later than August 14, 2008. Preliminary applications or applications received
by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
