Ályktun
Makar karla á hormónahvarfsmeðferð vegna blöðruhálskirtils-
krabbameins finna fyrir margháttuðum vandamálum í tengsl -
um við meðferðina sem hafa áhrif á velferð þeirra, svo sem
óvissu, skort á upplýsingum um sjúkdóm og meðferð, líkamlegt
og loks andlegt álag sem verður í kjölfar breytinga á persónu-
legu atgervi sjúklingsins. Þar sem um er að ræða meðferð sem
hefur margháttaðar afleiðingar í för með sér á samband manns
og maka til viðbótar við álag vegna lífshættulegs sjúkdóms,
þurfa þeir sérhæfðan stuðning og upplýsingar sem taka mið af
þessum vandamálum. Skipuleggja þarf heildræna þjónustu
fyrir þennan hóp hér á landi og gera ráð fyrir virkri þátttöku
maka frá upphafi meðferðar.
