Tónlistin og textamir sem hér eru að finna endur-
spegla þá lífsgleði og lífssýn sem ríkti á þessum
tíma þegar æska heimsins fann sameiningar-
mátt sinn í tónlistinni og horfði björtum a.ugum
til framtíðarinnar. Þá var gaman að lifa og marg-
ir telja að tónlistin, sem spratt upp úr þessum
frjóa jarðvegi, sé sú skemmtilegasta sem sam-
in hefur verið.
Það er eins öruggt og að bítlarnir fjórir hétu
John, Paul, George og Ringo, að lögin á plöt-
unni eiga ekki síður eftir að höfða til þeirra,
sem á þessum tíma voru aðeins glampi í
augum feðra sinna og misstu því af uppruna-
legum útgáfum þeirra.
Eftirvæntingin, sem skapast hefur vegna útg-
áfu þessarar plötu, er slík, að aukaupplag
hefur þegar verið pantað. Það er því eins
gott að hafa hraðar hendur og fljóta fætur,
ef þú ætlar að tryggja þér eintak af Bítlavina-
félaginu á hljómplötu, kassettu eða geisla-
diski.
