Teledyne Gavia ehf. is looking for an mechanical engineer to
work on mechanical development for the Gavia AUV. The Gavia
AUV is an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) capable
of carrying out complex survey missions for commercial,
scientific and defence applications.

Requirements
The position requires a BSc in Mechanical Engineering
and experience in mechanical design. Experience with
oceanographic equipment is a plus. Experience with SolidWorks
or other design tools is preferred. He/she must be a self-starter
and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Five years
or more work experience is preferred.

preferred) and experience in circuit design. Familiarity with
motors, motor controllers, power supplies and microcontrollers
is a plus. Experience with Altium or other circuit design tool

in a fast-paced, team environment. Five years or more work
experience is preferred. Experience with oceanographic
equipment is a plus.

environment. Three years or more work experience is preferred.
