Notes on the Icelandic Bryoflora

Anomodon attenuatus (I-Icdw.) Hueb. is recorded from S-Iceland. All speci-
mens of Anthoceros seen by the author from Iceland belong to A. laevis L.,
the Icelandic records of A. punctatus are therefore rejected. The record ol'
Brachythecium collinum (Shleich ex C. Muell.) B. S. G. in Botany of Iceland
(Hesselbo 1918) is rejected, the specimens belong to B. plumosum (Hedw.)
B. S. G. Brachythecium rutabulum (Hedw.) B. S. G. is recorded front two
localities. Brachythecium turgidum (Hartm.) Kind. is recorded from northern
and northeastern lceland. Bryum marratii Hook. & Wils. ex Wils. is recorded
from northwestern Iceland. All records of Campylopus flexosus (Hedw.)
Brid. and C. fragilis (Brid.) B. S. G. in Botany of Iceland are according to the
author’s opinion based on specimens belonging to C. pyriformis (Schultz) Brid.
and C. subulatus Schimp. Chandonanthus setiformis (Ehrh.) Mitt. is recordecl
from two localities frorn lavafields in West-Iceland. 'I’he records of C.irri-
phyllum cirrosum (Schwaegr. ex Schultes) Grout in Botany of Iceland are
