59 sjá, sérstaklega algengismörk fyrir RBK. Hemóglóbínmælingar eru vel staðlaðar, sið- an ábyggilegar cyanmethemóglóbinstýri- lausnir (standardar) urðu auðfengnar. SUMMARY A survey of reference values of some haema- tological parameters is described. The data was collected from Icelandic inpatients in the de- partments of Pediatrics and Plastic Surgery of Landspitalinn. Criteria to eliminate the in- fluences of diseases and deformities were app- lied when patients were entered in the study. Semiautomated electronic instruments were used for cell counts and haemoglobin measure- ments. Differential counts of leukocytes were done on wedge smears by counting 100 cells in a microscope. The reference values were esti- mated by a nonparametric method. The results correlate reasonably well with the results of some former Icelandic and foreign studies. The limits and values of this survey are discussed. HEIMILDIR 1. Dawson, J.B.: The E.S.R. in a new dress. Br. Med. J. 1960, 1:1697-1704. 2.
