Lífkol á Íslandi
Úr skógum mætti nýta greinar og
lélegt efni til að framleiða lífkol. Ösp
og víðir úr akurskógrækt myndu
henta vel í kolagerð. Kol yrðu líka
aukaafurð við framleiðslu á lífolíu. Á
Íslandi er mikið land sem er snautt
af kolefni og íblöndum lífkola gæti
gert það land hentugra fyrir alla
plönturæktun. Kolin verða auk þess
alltaf nýtanleg til brennslu sem
kolefnishlutlaust lífeldsneyti.
