hækkun á Hb-styrk í blóði (30) og stórir
skammtar kvenhormóna framkalla lækkun
(31). Sú væga hækkun Hb í sermi sem fannst
hjá konurn um og eftir tíðahvörfin kemur vel
heim og saman við framangreindar niðurstöð-
ur í rottunum og þá hækkun í karlhormóna/
kvenhormóna hlutfallinu sem kemur upp úr
tíðahvörfum.
