Hönnun skólabygginga í deiglu nýrra kennsluhátta
Um höfundana
Torfi Hjartarson M.Sc. er lektor í
kennslufræði og upplýsingatækni á
Menntavísindasviði Háskóla Íslands. Hann
var áður forstöðumaður Gagnasmiðju
Kennaraháskóla Íslands og hefur fjölþætta
reynslu af námsefnisgerð. Hann hefur
gegnt formennsku í Hagþenki, félagi
höfunda fræðirita og kennslugagna og
í Kennarafélagi KHÍ. Rannsóknir hans
lúta einkum að notkun upplýsingatækni
í grunnskólum, þróun námsumhverfis,
safnkennslu, námsefnisgerð og miðlun.

About the authors
Torfi Hjartarson, M.Sc., is Assistant
Professor of Pedagogy and Information
Technology at the University of Iceland,
School of Education. He is author of a
variety of curricular materials and led the
Centre for Media and Technology at the
Iceland University of Education. He was
chairman of Hagthenkir – Association
of Academic and Curricular Writers and
of the Teacher Association of the Iceland
University of Education. His research
interests include the application of
information technology and media at the
primary and lower secondary school level,
learning environments and design of school
buildings, school libraries, education at
museums, and instructional design.

Anna Kristín Sigurðardóttir Ph.D. er
lektor í skólaþróun við Menntavísindasvið
Háskóla Íslands og deildarforseti
Kennaradeildar. Hún er menntaður
sérkennari, hefur fjölþætta reynslu af
kennslu, ráðgjöf og stjórnun í skólakerfinu,
m.a. hjá Reykjavíkurborg. Hún lauk
doktorsprófi frá Háskólanum í Exeter með
áherslu á skólann sem lærdómssamfélag.
Rannsóknir hennar tengjast þróun
skólastarfs, svo sem ytra umhverfi, faglegu
lærdómsamfélagi, teymisvinnu, stjórnun og
skóla án aðgreiningar.

Anna Kristín Sigurðardóttir, Ph.D., is
Assistant Professor of School Development
at the University of Iceland, School of
Education and currently head of the Faculty
of Teacher Education. She is educated as
a special needs teacher and has extensive
experience as class teacher, consultant
and administrator in the Icelandic school
system, most recently working for the
municipal authorities of Reykjavik. Her
Ph.D. dissertation at the University of
Exeter focused on the school as a learning
community. Her research interests include
aspects of school development such as
professional learning communities, the
physical learning environment, teamwork,
leadership, and inclusive schooling.
