fræði við Háskóla Íslands árið 1995, cand. sci.-prófi í
fiskifræði við Háskólann í Björgvin 1998 og doktorspró-
fi í fiskifræði við haffræðideild Dalhousie University í
Halifax í Kanada árið 2005. Hann hefur starfað sem
sérfræðingur á Hafrannsóknastofnun við rannsóknir og
stofnstærðarmat uppsjávarfisktegunda síðan árið 2005.
