Böðvar Þórisson (f. 1968) lauk BS- og MS-prófum í líffræði og dýravistfræði við Háskóla Íslands 2002 og 2013. Hann starfaði við Náttúrustofu Vestfjarða 2002– ¬2015 og hefur síðan verið sérfræðingur við Rannsókna- setur Háskólans á Suðurlandi.
