A grundvelli þess að efniviður í þessari rannsókn er mjög tengdur reynslu og
næsta ómöglegt að fella viðfangsefnið að ýmsum einkennum á stigum Piagets, er
líklegasta niðurstaðan að þekking á þjóðfélagsskipan sé fyrst og fremst reynslu-
bundin þekking. Nauðsynlegt er þó að staðfesta þá niðurstöðu frekar með því að
prófa að kenna sex og sjö ára börnum skilning fullorðinna á þjóðfélagsskipan.
