readings are presented diplomatically using standard editorial symbols
for Old Norse texts; “om.” signifies ‘omitted’. Citations with a decimal
point refer to page and line location in FJ. Corrections of readings
from either manuscript presented in FJ follow a colon, whereas new
variant readings from B follow a bracket. In order that minor mistakes
and erroneous readings in FJ which are presented correctly in JS not
obscure the entirely new manuscript readings and variants, the list has
been divided in two.
