OH 189:14 and 422:13, Fms I 37 and 279, II 43. *80 Mále: Hann fieck mikinn Mala med henne. *89 Muta: Ad sækia greppin i kreppin, qværere pisciculos ad ventriculum. -— Kreppin is perhaps a mistake for kieppin, see Blöndal s. vv. Keppur 4, and Greppur 3. Björn Halldórsson has both words in these senses. The phrase is added as a gloss to a line of the poem Trollaslagur, which is quoted in this entry (“Hreppum vier sleppum af greppum”), but is not in DG 55. It may have been added to the entry by Guðmundur Andrésson, who quotes a line from the poem in his own dictionary, and also includes in it the word keppr (p. 142).
