Samúel Lefever er lektor í kennslufræði
erlendra tungumála við Menntavísindasvið
Háskóla Íslands. Hann hlaut M.A. gráðu
frá Háskólanum í Kansas, Bandaríkjunum,
í uppeldis- og menntunarfræði með
kennslufræði annars máls sem sérsvið. Hann
stundar rannsóknir á enskukennslu og -námi á
grunn- og framhaldsskólastigi og tekur þátt í
rannsóknarverkefni á vegum Háskóla Íslands
og Rannís um stöðu enskunnar á Íslandi.

Samúel Lefever is an Assistant Professor of
English and language teaching methodology
in the School of Education at the University
of Iceland. He has an MA in Education with
emphasis on teaching English as a second
language from the University of Kansas, USA.
He is currently participating in research on the
changing status of English in Iceland and its
impact on the learning and teaching of English
