Epidemics were ol' unusually lillle consequence during tlie year.
Tliere was indeed a wave ol’ Influenza over the whole country, but
it was of an exceptionally mild type and caused comparatively little
harm. There was also au epidemic of Scarlet Fever, a continuation
of the epidemic which began in 1930 and which lias not yet reached
every part of Ihe country.
