Arnarsson hefur kennt sálfræði við Háskólann á Akureyri frá árinu 2007. Áður starfaði hann hjá alþjóðlegum lyfja- fyrirtækjum, auk þess að vera stundakennari við Læknadeild í fjórtán ár. Hann lauk B.A.- prófi í sálfræði við Háskóla Íslands 1993, meistaraprófi í heilbrigðisvísindum 1997 og doktorsprófi í líf- og læknavísindum árið 2009 frá sama skóla. Hann er meðhöfundur að rúmlega 100 bókarköflum, tímaritsgreinum og erindum um margvísleg efni. Þóroddur lauk B.A.-prófi í félagsfræði frá Háskóla Íslands árið 1991, meistaraprófi í gagnagreiningu félagsvísinda frá University of Essex árið 1995 og svo doktorsprófi í félagsfræði frá University of Notre Dame árið 2000. Arnarsson has taught psychology at the University of Akureyri since 2007. Prior to that he worked for international pharma- ceutical companies, as well as being a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Iceland for 14 years. He completed his B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Iceland in 1993, and a masters degree in health sciences from the same school four years later. He is the co-author of over 100 chapters, articles and presentations on various scientific topics. Bjarnason completed a B.A. degree in sociology from the University of Iceland in 1991, a masters degree in social science data analysis from the University of Essex in 1995, and a Ph.D. degree in sociology from the University of Notre Dame in 2000.
