85 Tímarit Hins íslenska náttúrufræðifélags Þakkir Þessi grein var rituð til heiðurs Arnþóri Garðarssyni á 70 ára afmæli hans. Arnþóri færi ég bestu þakkir fyrir vináttu og heimspekilega hvatningu í vel á annan áratug. Jenny Gill og Graham Appleton tóku þátt í öflun gagna sem notuð voru til að bera saman þéttleika og fjölbreytni vaðfugla eftir landshlutum. Gunnar Tómasson og Elsa Marísdóttir veittu svöngum feltmanni margvísleg- an stuðning meðan sú vinna sem þessi kafli byggist á fór fram og Gunnar las jafnframt yfir handrit. Hlynur Óskarsson og Jón S. Ólafsson lásu yfir og lag- færðu margt. Þessu ágæta fólki er þakkað kærlega fyrir stuðninginn. Heim ild ir Arnþór Garðarsson 1975. Íslenskir votlendisfuglar.
