þrátt fyrir öll verkfæri veraldarinnar halda menn af
einhverjum ástæðum áfram að fá verki af völdum
ólæknandi sjúkdóma og deyja í kvöl sinni. Og það
gera þeir meðal annars vegna þess að læknar og
læknanemar hafa ekki sinnt þekkingaröflun sem
skyldi hvorki á sviði verkjameðferðar né annarrar
einkennameðferðar. Ekki hefurheldur verið til að ráði
á íslenskri tungu aðgengilegt efni um verki og
