1963 as also the aggregate number of deaths from each disease during
the same period.
5. Venereal Diseases. Notified cases in the years 1959—1963 are

Deaths from tuberculosis this year are classified as follows (last
year’s figures in round brackets): Pulmonary tuberculosis 3 (4),
tuberculosis of central nervous system 0 (0), tuberculosis of intestines
0 (0), tuberculosis of the urinary and generative organs 0 (1). The
death rate from tuberculosis was: 0.02 (0.03) per 1000 of the popula-
tion.

Monthly notification of hydatid disease has now been discontinued,
but in the annual report on the disease, which comprises all medical
districts in this country, 9 cases are reported, most of them very old
people, perhaps only with some or other remains of the disease.
