tiansitio and correctio to occupatio, 1159—62:

Mortificaret homo, captum deitatis ab hamo.
This is a commonplace but the juxtaposition may have influenced the intro-
duction of the very well-known hamus motif in Lilja 66/7—8 (cf. Paasche,
Hedenskap og kristendom, 233—4; James W. Marchand, Scandinavian Studies
47 (1975), 328—33); and the allusion in 66/6 may echo sicut hominem fallaciter
hostis mortificavit.
